This banjo strum stick is built with the same fret board as a simple strum stick, but has a banjo body added to provide a wonderful, old-timey, bluegrass sound. The tone is plaintive and mellow, but loud enough to hold its own beside guitars and mandolins. Two 12-inch, 3/4 inch plywood rings, an 8-inch Mylar banjo head, a full scale 26 1/2 inch neck with 6 1/2 fret for sharps or flats, and five strings. It's put together with screws so the head can be tuned and kept tight and has 3 guitar tuners and a strap button. The banjo strum stick is approximately 36 inches long and 2 1/2 inches thick. $250.00 |
